Waste Minister hopes for Election

Resource minister Dan Rogerson said it would be ‘depressing’ if political parties did not voice their own ideas on waste and recycling ahead of the general election.

And, Mr Rogerson added that the ‘question of targets’ would likely dominate the waste debate in the run up to the polls, although calls for a shared manifesto across the political spectrum would ‘take longer to agree’.

We at Secure Data Recycling support Mr Rogerson’s views that waste should be an issue for the election, but we fear it will be lost behind the debates on the NHS and Schools. (Who by the way create huge amounts of waste..is that ironic?)

Secure Data Recycling will continue to improve and develop its IT recycling service with our aim to reduce landfill to 0%.

To do this we will continually invest in new equipment that will help up process surplus IT more efficiently and separate all the elements so that they can be recycled and not send to landfill.
