What can you do with Data

Data can only be used for those registered purposes and can only be disclosed to those people mentioned in the register entry. You cannot give it away or sell it unless you said you would to begin with.

In other words when you collect data through registration or other means you must state clearly what the data will be used for, how long it will be kept and how it will eventually be destroyed.

The data cannot be used for other purposes or resold unless you have specifically requested this in the registration process and the registrar has agreed with these terms.

Pretty heavy and complicated stuff, but data protection is a serious part of the law.

At Secure Data Recycling we do not just dispose of data we help companies understand the law, use data properly, store data to avoid storage and security issues and ultimately work with out clients to decide when data needs to be destroyed.

SDR work with both electronic and paper based data.
