Thanks to rapid development and advances in technology, electrical and electronic waste is piling up in Asia-Pacific, compelling governments to regulate for mandatory e-waste recycling.

According to a news report from market analysts, Frost & Sullivan

The report, Strategic Analysis of the Asia-Pacific E-Waste Recycling Market, found that the market was worth some $1.85 billion in 2012, but that it is expected to reach $4.01 billion in 2017.

Staggering numbers, e-Waste is a global issue and one that companies such as Secure Data Recycling are at the forefront of.  Companies such as Secure Data Recycling can do more, but that requires the consumer to take on more responsibility and get the unwanted devices back to recycling companies rather than into a convenient bin!
